Ilsa is a natural hunter. She showed that instinct from the moment we brought her home by "pointing" at her toys that were hidden behind the sofa. Ilsa is very birdy. The first time she saw a live pigeon at three months old, it was sniff, sniff and pounce. The pigeon was in her mouth and she was trotting around like it was the best thing that ever happened. Demonstrating a soft mouth, the pigeon was non-the-worse wear. There is nothing better for Isla than to be carrying something around in her mouth. Although, I'm not a hunter and don't come from a hunting family, I'm going to try training Ilsa for hunt tests. It will be much more of a challenge for me than Ilsa.
